Contact Support
How does the game work?

You sing the notes shown on screen in real time. The app detects your pitch and timing, awards points for accuracy, and challenges you to keep your health up as the songs progress. The better you sing, the longer you last and the higher your score.

Is the app free to play?

Yes. VocalRun is free to download and play. Coins, used for things like reviving a run, are earned in-app through a daily reward and can also be bought as one-time in-app purchases.

Do I need to be a good singer?

Not at all. VocalRun measures your vocal range and transposes the notes into it, so the game is singable whether you are a bass or a soprano. Beginners and experienced singers both get a version pitched for their voice.

Is my audio recorded?

No. Your voice is analyzed locally on your device in real time. Audio is never recorded, stored, or shared.

What is a vocal run?

A vocal run is a singing technique: a fast series of notes sung on a single syllable, common in gospel, R&B and pop. The app is named after it. VocalRun itself is a pitch-accuracy game rather than a runs trainer, and our guides cover the technique in depth.

Does VocalRun work on Android?

Not yet. VocalRun is currently available on iPhone through the Apple App Store.
